You must have good personal and written communication skills, be able to explain basic billing situations to our Agents, and explain financial reports to managers and execs who don't necessarily know a lot about accounting. We are a large real estate company in the DMV seeking a full charge bookkeeper. This position is responsible for handling the basics of the company's financial record keeping, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and annual 1099’s, reconciling bank statements, and compiling end of year financials for the company's Accountant.

Qualifications: You should have knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, be organized and have an eye for detail. Associate's or higher degree in accounting or business administration a plus but not required but if you have no normal accounting education, equivalent business experience is required.


  • 2 or more years experience
  • Knowledge of all phases of small business bookkeeping
  • Ability to communicate financial reports and information clearly to non-financial personnel

$45,000 - $55,000 annually
