The Office Manager is organized, personable, and detail-oriented. This Team Member coordinates various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly at all times.


  • Welcome clients and visitors to the office and assist them as needed
  • Perform various clerical tasks as needed (file papers, organize files, restock supplies, etc.)
  • Answer phones/email; route to appropriate persons; take and deliver phone messages; Manage, sort, and dispense incoming mail and faxes; Prepare outgoing mail, faxes, and packages
  • Suggest changes to office task workflow in order to improve efficiency
  • Attend company meetings and take notes, keep minutes, etc.
  • Ensure up to date subcontractor documentation is collected and organized
  • Coordinate with PM to obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
  • Transfer utilities to and from the company when homes are bought or sold, ensure that utilities remain on, and submit requests for new utility connections for new builds
  • Request waivers from subcontractors to receive money from title agencies for projects
  • Retrieve important documents from title agencies and bring them to their appropriate location
  • Frequent trips to the bank
  • Ensure that paper copies of prints are available and organized for when subcontractors or Team Members may need them
  • Notifies insurance company of purchases and sales and submits required paperwork
  • Coordinates incoming communication from customers including punch list/warranty requests
  • Supports other Team Members in order to accomplish company goals


  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and excellent time management
  • Competence with company software tools (word processing, spreadsheets, Google Drive, BuilderTrend, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the construction process
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
  • Professional level of verbal and written communication skills

$35,000 - $45,000 yearly
