Walnut Grill's Front of House Team is composed of a group of professionals, including Servers, Bartenders, Hosts, and Server Assistants, who work together to provide an exceptional dining experience to our guests. From the moment they arrive until they leave, our team is committed to delivering top-notch service, creating exquisite cocktails, and offering genuine hospitality to make our guests feel valued and respected.

Must live within commuting of the restaurant and be authorized to work in the US.

• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
• Within your role, collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions
• Within your role, welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests

• Demonstrated ability to exhibit patience and prioritize guest satisfaction.
• Proven track record of fostering positive relationships with all team members.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired

The Walnut Grill concept began in 1999 when four friends joined together with a common goal: to develop a full-service restaurant with a local feel, inviting to our guests, and serving them outstanding food and beverage in Pittsburgh, PA. All of our menu items are made with fresh, quality ingredients.

Each of our exceptionally credentialed and talented staff is fully committed to our mission of taking care of our guests with a local feel and serving them with outstanding food and beverage. From the establishment of our first restaurant in Pittsburgh PA, we have expanded to 10 locations bringing that same desire to take care of every guest that privileges us with their presence. Our guests just keep returning and that is the reason we just keep expanding.
