We are looking for a positive and professional front desk receptionist to be the face of our estate planning and small business law firm. You will create a welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and fellow employees. You will answer phone calls and emails, sort and scan mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and assist us with other administrative tasks as needed. You will make no assumptions and will courageously ask questions until you fully understand every situation you face throughout the day. You will serve as both our “Firm Ambassador” to our future clients and referral partners and our “Client Concierge” connecting our existing clients with the right attorney or other resources that they need.

We seek only exceptional people who want to become part of our team. We work well together, live out our core values, and have fun while continually improving the service we provide to our clients and one another. We also have lots of free off-street parking, delicious snacks, and a broad selection of Keurig coffee that has been curated and tailored to suit the discerning palates of our team (even if you like bad coffee or no coffee at all, we’ll have you covered, too).

  • Greet visitors, clients, and fellow employees when they arrive at the front desk and provide them with any necessary directions or information
  • Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
  • Make appointments for employees and ensure the calendar is current and correct
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
  • Handle deliveries and manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Book travel arrangements and prepare itineraries so off-site meetings go smoothly

  • Ensure the security of the office by unlocking the doors at the beginning of the day and locking the doors at the end of the day.

  • 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
  • Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic computer skills
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills
$16 - $20 hourly
