Do you enjoy having a variety of tasks geared toward helping connect people with the resources they need?
Do your strengths include greeting people with a smile, whether on the phone or in-person? (Smiling while typing up an email is not required, but it wouldn’t hurt, either.)
Do you get excited to hear people's stories and to ask questions until you get the whole picture?
Do you enjoy helping people achieve their goals and encouraging them along the way?
Are you energized by anticipating the needs of clients and coworkers and passionate about fulfilling those needs all while being heavy on the "nice" and light on the "drama"?
Do you like staying active and finding ways to help, instead of sitting and waiting for the phone to ring or for someone to give you something to do?
Are you a great communicator with a strong work ethic who desires a meaningful role on a supportive team?
Are you a wizard with a multifunction printer/scanner/copier or excited about getting to know one on a first-name basis? (Ours bears the birthname of Ricardo, but you can choose a more suitable nickname of your liking, if you are nice about it. Ricardo has been good to us.)
Do you like “dad jokes?”
If so, keep reading!
We are looking for a positive and professional front desk receptionist to be the face of our estate planning and small business law firm. You will create a welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and fellow employees. You will answer phone calls and emails, sort and scan mail, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, and assist us with other administrative tasks as needed. You will make no assumptions and will courageously ask questions until you fully understand every situation you face throughout the day. You will serve as both our “Firm Ambassador” to our future clients and referral partners and our “Client Concierge” connecting our existing clients with the right attorney or other resources that they need.
We seek only exceptional people who want to become part of our team. We work well together, live out our core values, and have fun while continually improving the service we provide to our clients and one another. We also have lots of free off-street parking, delicious snacks, and a broad selection of Keurig coffee that has been curated and tailored to suit the discerning palates of our team (even if you like bad coffee or no coffee at all, we’ll have you covered, too).
Based on prior experience, we will probably get a lot of responses to our ad.
If you are interested, you can apply right on this page. If we like what we see in your initial application, we will move you on to the next step of our hiring process. As you progress through the process, you will likely have more than one interview, a writing exercise, and probably a quiz (not in that order). We do this to make sure we don’t waste your time in applying for a job that doesn't fit you and your goals.
Thank you for taking the time to read this ad, and we look forward to hearing from you!
Eyestone Law Offices was launched in 2010, and since then we have gained a great reputation in the community, with our clients, with financial professionals, and even many other attorneys (and everyone knows those folks can be tough to impress). We have earned the highest ratings possible on both Martindale-Hubbell and AVVO.com from our clients, judges, and other lawyers.
