Who are we looking for? 

The ladies and gentlemen of Keller Williams Cary must be elite professionals who are hungry, humble, smart; who embody extreme ownership; and deliver gold standard customer service.

The Receptionist must understand that to run effectively and efficiently, a Market Center must tend to its associates’ needs in such a way that they (the associates) are receiving the expected level of service and remain satisfied with the level of service provided by the Market Center.

The Receptionist will be responsible for the appearance of the Market Center common areas. They will ensure the office is neat and prepared for business. The Receptionist will need to have a relationship-based attitude as a result of the associate being the customer with an understanding that the agent associates will seek them because the associate likes the individual and is swayed by enthusiasm.

The Receptionist acts as the "Director of First Impressions" for the Market Center. They will greet everyone with a smile and warmth as they enter the office. They will be as helpful as possible at all times.

The Receptionist will assist the Director of Operations by providing support and feedback to her on all matters affecting the productivity and operation of the Market Center.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Greet everyone in a positive manner

  • Properly route phone calls
  • Assist management team
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Maintain appearance of reception area and office common spaces

Communications/Interactions 

  • Sales Associates – daily
  • Director of Operations – daily
  • Other management team members as needed

Qualifications
  • Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills
  • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
