The Maple Tree Inn is bringing back the evening hospitality service and we’re looking for a server with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service and have a great time with our patrons! The reception includes hors d'oeuvres, a salad bar, beer, wine, and cocktails. You’ll oversee food prep and attend the buffet line, taking customer drink orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, serving beer and wine, and keeping the bar clean and the area always sanitized. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. - Greet our guests and provide outstanding service throughout the hospitality hours
- Verify in-house guests and charge beverages accordingly
- Setup Hospitality room with bar
- Responsible for heating up and replenishing appetizers
- Responsible for replenishing and serving alcohol
- Assist with guest requests and questions
- Communicate with the Front Desk department to update charges for guests
- Always maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Maintain the register for the bar
- Complete all relevant checklists during a shift
- Any other related tasks as requested by the Guest Service Manager
- Friendly, energetic, welcoming, and positive personality
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Highly motivated team player contributing to a positive work environment
- Strong communications skills, outgoing personality, and customer service-minded
- Prior bar server experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Must be willing and have the ability to work Monday – Thursday evenings
