New York Life Insurance Company is looking for a motivated insurance agent that can identify and convert sales leads for insurance policies while overseeing a robust portfolio of clients. We need someone that is enthusiastic, intuitive, and organized who thrives in a multifaceted role. We’ll provide you with the training, mentoring, and support you need to take your earning potential into your own hands and to make a real impact on our clients. Our new, blended training and development program is designed to work with your schedule. The multifaceted system includes:

Responsibilities

  • Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders
  • Implement sales strategies to keep and build existing customer portfolios of long-term, loyal clients
  • Build relationships with new and potential clients by assessing their priorities and determining a suitable insurance plan that meets their needs
  • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
  • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office programs and computer skills (basic)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required
  • Customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to obtain an insurance license
  • Entrepreneurial minded
  • Coachable

Compensation
$50,000 - $70,000 yearly
