Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients.
Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/ circumstances they may encounter.
Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security
Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients.
Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise.
Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, results in trust and continuity of community over time.

Responsibilities
  • Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs
  • Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty
  • Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders
  • Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish
  • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile
Qualifications
  • Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office programs
  • Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is helpful
  • Insurance license required
  • Excellent communication, customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations
Compensation
$60,000 - $90,000
