Expanding St. Louis based Commercial Real Estate Management, Development, and Leasing Company is seeking an experienced, motivated, self starter with a proven track record to oversee our finance department. 

Due to our expanding portfolio we have recently relocated to a brand new 6,000 square foot office in Fenton.   

The Finance Manager / Controller position is responsible for day to day operations of the accounting staff as well as overseeing and executing all financial duties, statements, reports and provides supervision. 

This position requires maintaining financial security by establishing internal controls, verifying documentation, research and requesting disbursements; as well as budget reports and budget forecasts.

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Review month, quarter and year-end financial reports
  • Participate in account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and audit schedules 
  • Review and enter journal entries
  • Year-end tenant escrow billing and reconciliations
  • Assist in budget preparation
  • Supervision, team building and evaluation of accounting staff
  • Other administration and accounting duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Commercial Real Estate experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Team player
  • Organizational skills and time management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Degree or equivalent work experience necessary
