An elder and special needs planning law firm is looking for a talented Finance Clerk to be responsible for handling the firm’s accounting processes, including accounts payable, processing deposits, financial reporting, payroll, and other general accounting duties.

• Manage all functions of the accounts payable process for vendor payments, and other forms of money owed to suppliers for goods or services rendered while ensuring all bills are paid in a timely manner.
• General accounting tasks including account reconciliations, the closing of books, journal entries, accruals, and related activities.
• Perform payroll-related functions, including payroll processing for the biweekly payroll and management of the automated timekeeping system.
• Manage and reconcile all bank accounts and individual bank account transactions for the firm checking, savings, and trusts accounts. 

• Associate degree or higher
• At least two years of experience in an accounting role
• Eye for detail
• Strong math skills
• The ability to jump between tasks efficiently
• Trustworthy
• Excellent communicator
