Our law firm is seeking a family law attorney who can assist clients in navigating the confidential legal issues of family law, including divorce, child custody, legitimation, child support, adoption and protective orders. The perfect candidate is a self-starter, a quick learner, has desire to litigate in and out of court and has sharp communication skills.

$70,000 - $95,000 based on experience and with the opportunity to earn bonuses

  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
  • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
  • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
  • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
  • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
  • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base

  • Family Law experience required
  • Knowledge of military financial assets preferred but not required
