We're searching for an experienced mortgage loan officer assistant who can close 20-30 loans a month with the support of 3 assistants. Two years experience minimum required with purchases and expert knowledge on guidelines, income, and structuring loans for conventional, FHA, and VA loans. Someone who is able to take a lead all the way to closing. The 3 assistants will take care of preparing the loan (credit, application, docs), conditions, disclosures, coordinating closing, communicating with escrow and title, etc.

This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. • Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
• Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed
• Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc.
• Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator

• Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team

• Minimum 2-3 years experience as an LOA with purchases
• NMLS license and experience quoting rates preferred
• Experience closing 20-30 loans a month showing ability to handle high volume
• Ability to structure complex loan scenarios and income
• Extensive knowledge of conventional, VA, and FHA guidelines
• College degree required, preferably in finance or banking
