Pathway To Hope is currently accepting applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is the key management leader of Pathway To Hope, Inc. Reporting to the Pathway To Hope Board of Directors, this position is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. This position works closely with a dedicated board of directors to fulfill the organization's mission.

Under the direction of the outgoing executive director, Pathway To Hope has dedicated the past several years to solidifying the organization’s financial programmatic stability. The organization is positioned for expansion and is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and innovative executive director with a proven track record of successfully leading an organization during a period of growth. 

The Executive Director is an on-site, full-time, exempt salaried position and will work under the direction of the Pathway To Hope Board of Directors. The Executive Director position is solely responsible for the administration, programs, and strategic direction of the organization. The position requires strong leadership and management, written and oral communication skills, experience in fundraising, and the ability to work with and lead staff and volunteers. This position requires an understanding of the mental health field including crisis intervention methodologies. This position will be responsible for the financial stability and sustainability of the organization. The Executive Director is also responsible for identifying and fostering meaningful relationships and partnerships with the community including funders, partner organizations, and volunteers that expand awareness and support of the Pathway To Hope.

Responsibilities

  • BOARD GOVERNANCE. Report to, and work closely with, the Board of Directors to fulfill the mission, and increase the visibility of the organizing within the community.
  • FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND VIABILITY. Develop resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the organization necessary to support the mission.
  • FUNDRAISING. Oversee strategies related to annual fundraising including major events and grants.
  • ORGANIZATION MISSION AND STRATEGY. Responsible for ensuring that the organization’s strategic plan is implemented and that the mission is fulfilled through programs, strategic planning, and community outreach.
  • ORGANIZATION OPERATIONS. Oversee daily operations of the organization including human relations, program execution, fundraising, marketing, and volunteer management. Supervise and collaborate with organization staff and volunteers. 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Social Work or a similar field.
  • Certification in Mental Health Crisis or similar certifications.
  • 5+ years of senior nonprofit management experience, with demonstrated experience in working with a Board of Directors.
  • Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff and volunteers.
  • High-level strategic thinking and planning.
  • Ability to envision and convey the organization’s strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers, and donors.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making, and reporting.
  • History of generating successful revenue streams and improving financial results.
  • Experienced fundraiser with excellent donor relations skills and understanding of the funding community.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence including funders, partner agencies, and volunteers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with strong public speaking ability.
  • Transparent and high integrity leader.

Compensation
$70,000 - $80,000 yearly
