We want someone who is intelligent, loves learning, has an open mind and is willing to go the extra mile showing leaders how Assured Strategy could help them scale their company. We are looking for someone who would say they are bold but humble in their sales approach.

There is a lot to learn about Assured Strategy so we would not expect you to come in and move mountains in a day, week, or even a few months. We would expect a professional development person to start to make sales within six to nine months, after all, we’re not selling used cars on a discount lot, we are selling coaching and consulting growth services to 5M to 100M+ small and mid-sized businesses.

 Here are some of what we would want from our professional development team member:

  • Travel, at times, throughout the United States
  • Represent our company’s products and services
  • Generate leads and build relationships
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of growth goals
  • Develop and implement an action plan through comprehensive data analysis with our marketing team, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results from the field
  • Dedicated, focused, and flexible with constantly shifting priorities
  • Make decisions and be comfortable with being wrong sometimes
  • Work at a fast pace that keeps up with the team
  • Multi-task and see the big picture
  • Great at communicating with different types of executives and personalities

 

We would also expect you to communicate professionally and appropriately with clients and prospects both verbally and in written form, yet can be casual with colleagues.

This person must fit into our company culture of commitment to grow and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Identify appropriate prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly
  • Willing to develop cold leads for clients the business is looking to target
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in sales experience selling to senior leaders, required
  • Computer literate, required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills, required
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism, required
  • Strong organizational skills, preferred
  • Higher Education, preferred
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM, preferred
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas, preferred

Compensation
$80,000 to $120,000 a year plus commision as eligible
