We are looking for an Assistant who will cultivate a professional image and maintain a sense of ownership in all that they do—an organizational leader who will manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment. We are trained and certified by the National Association of Realtors® to help the Relocation of Military Families PSCing in and out of the DC area. We are ready to guide and help our clients along the process of Selling a home or Buying a home in and around the Fairfax County, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. region. We contribute a portion of each commission earned in real estate to the Children’s Miracle Network which supports children's hospitals, medical research, and community awareness of children's health issues. Location/commute: Springfield, VA. You will be working from the agent’s home office. Candidate MUST live within a 10-mile commute of Springfield and MUST have their own car, a valid driver’s license, and carry insurance. 

Type of employment/hours: Full-time, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. M-F, some flexibility during the evenings and weekends is required but it will be rare. 

Compensation: $21-25/hour

The ideal candidate plays an active role in the transaction process, pays attention to the details and knows how to prioritize their responsibilities without direction. We seek someone who will put the needs of the team and the clients first and handle all communication with a polished etiquette and finesse.  

  • Provide an executive level of administrative support. This may include (but is not limited to) phone and email management, calendar organization, task management, and keeping the Agent focused on key tasks
  • Prepare properties for listing and schedule showings
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and initiatives on behalf of the Agent such as updating the MLS, sending and coordinating email blasts and managing all social media platforms
  • Serve as the key contact person for clients and provide a concierge-level of service 
  • Handle database management and marketing initiatives as they come up
  • Create systems and processes that will help scale operations as the business grows

  • Residential Real Estate experience is required
  • A skilled and thorough doer with an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with organization and an unwavering attention to detail

  • Hardworking, diligent, and ethical

In the past, you have…

  •  2+ years of real estate experience as an Executive Assistant or an Administrator to a Realtor or real estate office
  • An active VA real estate license is not required but preferred 

We’re also looking for mastery of the following:

  • Virginia listing and sales contracts
  • Instanet Forms
  • Authentisign
  • MS Office Suite
  • MAC OS experience is a plus

$21 - $25 / hour
