Event Coordinator / Assistant to the CEO
This position is perfect for an energetic, gregarious recent grad with relevant event planning internship experience wanting to join a highly motivated team. This job requires the highest level of organizational skills and responsiveness.

The Event Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and managing overall event logistics including marketing, travel, and sales support for a successful, rapidly growing high-end event company, with very senior-level attendees reporting directly to the CEO and Event Director. Please note, the salary listed is approximate and will be determined in interviews.


  • Coordinator will act as the right-hand to CEO and Event Director of company to manage overall event logistics and timelines. Additionally, will assist CEO with non-event related tasks and projects to enhance the productivity of the CEOs day-to-day operations.
  • Participate in all facets of developing and managing company events. This will include digital marketing campaigns, audience development, sponsor sales follow-ups, speaker research, attendee materials development, travel logistics and overall pre and post event follow-ups.
  • Work with Sponsorship Sales to manage all follow-up related to invoicing, receiving content for attendee materials, and carefully reviewing such materials prior to use.
  • Work with Travel Department to assist with coordinating air and ground transportation and room reservations.
  • Manage event-related communications and attendee management.
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence.
  • Work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Perform other duties as requested to assist the CEO. This includes personal assistant responsibilities.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-1 year of experience performing advanced administrative functions and experience in event planning or other detailed logistics functions in a fast-paced environment assisting a CEO.
  • Experience in social media management
  • Exceptional computer skills including Google Suite, MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Adobe InDesign and Photoshop experience preferred not but not required.
  • Excellent grammar, editing and proofing skills required; attention to detail a must.
  • High level of maturity to manage time both onsite and when working remotely.
  • High-energy self-starter with a positive attitude. Who is flexible, conscientious, personable, polished, and professional demeanor. Ability to build relationships with very senior people.
  • Strong commitment to provide exceptional customer service. Requires significant verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with very senior people both internally and with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Available to work long hours into evenings as needed. Travel will be required to event locations as most events take place in fun, desirable cities in the US.
  • Ability to work from home as required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
