Our Team is growing! We are currently seeking a results-driven team player with the ability to manage a heavy bid list. This position will collaborate closely with the Executive and Marketing Team to develop winning proposals! To be successful in this position you will be self-motivated and have a competitive edge.

Opportunities include nationwide estimating experience and coordination with team members. You will be paired with a Sr. Estimator to manage bid processing.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, download, log and organize pipeline of bids
  • Maintains and improves information in the SmartBid database
  • Communicate bid/no-bid decisions to appropriate parties (this includes obtaining timely bid/no-bid decisions)
  • Coordinate with Proposal Writers for compilation of price and technical proposal volume
  • Ensure that the Bid Manager has the bid documents & meets deadlines
  • Organizes/obtain price volume documents in original and digital copies (pre-award survey, bid bonds, surety letter, etc.)
  • On price only proposals, 100% lead submission effort (production, coordination, RFI submission)
  • RFI submission/ follow up with Contracting Officer
  • Coordinate with lead estimator on all facets of a proposal to include bid forms, amendments, and RFIs
  • After award, assist and participate in compiling and organizing project files for hand-off meeting
  • Bid delivery as needed to include coordination of job walks and submission of base access
  • Log/track/organize subcontractor prequalification information
  • Smart Bid management (amendments, RFIs, solicitations, emails/notifications to subs)
  • Collecting missing project data for technical proposals
  • Assist with production of proposals 

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion
  • Intermediate to advanced computer competencies, including experience with spreadsheets, word processing, and accounting software
  • Ability to effectively work under pressure, reassess daily competing priorities, and proactively meet deadlines
  • Strong service orientation
  • Proficient communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
  • Be willing to work as part of a tightly integrated team in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
$55,000 - $65,000 yearly
