We are looking for a Senior Associate - someone who shares our passion for estate planning for younger families cares deeply about making sure that children are protected and cared for by the people their parents want no matter what, and is committed to creating an amazing client experience, and has the ability to be a calming and comforting presence for clients during a potentially anxious time.

The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm is a fast-growing estate planning law firm in Acton, MA, focused on the unique estate planning needs of both young families and empty nesters. We provide exceptional client service in the areas of kids' protection planning, wills, trusts, estates, and asset protection.

We are looking for someone special. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in creating, drafting, and implementing comprehensive trust-based estate plans. You should also have an interest in stepping out into the community to network. In addition, you should have an interest in conducting webinars and lives seminars to educate parents about the need for planning.

If you are an experienced attorney, with at least 4+ years experience, and have a passion for estate planning, we would also like to meet with you.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze complex legal issues relating to Estate Planning
  • Meet with clients to provide a positive and confidential experience
  • Draft advanced planning and trust documents
  • Develop comprehensive protection plans for parents of minor children
  • Conduct signing meetings and legacy interviews
  • Network in the community, and with other professionals
  • Lead educational webinars and seminars, educating young parents on the importance of planning
  • Supervise and delegate work to Paralegals
  • Collaborate with owners and team members to improve processes and procedures
  • Attend the Firms' and other seminars to promote personal and professional growth

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Estate Planning experience
  • Has a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Massachusetts Bar License require
  • New Hampshire Bar License a plus
  • Experience drafting asset-based trusts
  • Financial asset protection planning
  • Wealth planning experience
  • Prior speaking engagements a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed to work with all levels of staff and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving to serve clients better and more efficiently
  • MS Office required

Compensation
$120,000+
