Our growing estate planning and elder law firm with offices in Hamburg, PA, and Wyomissing, PA is seeking to add a motivated, team-orientated lawyer who can make an immediate impact on Day 1 and help with existing clients, new client consultations, document reviews, client files, and signings. That’s the gig. Talking to clients, helping them create plans, and solving problems.

Just think:
You don’t have to do trust accounting or manage social media. We have team members who handle all of that. And you don’t have to worry about collecting payments or tracking down money from anyone. We have team members who handle this too!

This is a full-time, salaried position, 401(k) with match, and twelve (12) days of PTO. We also close for major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, etc. This is a hybrid position and attorneys are encouraged and allowed to work from home as needed – as long as the work is getting done, we are flexible.

As an associate attorney, you would work hand-in-hand with our intake team and Senior Estate attorney to do consultations, handle cases and represent clients from open to close.

• Do intake consults via Zoom/Phone/In person using Lawmatics and Smokeball
• Navigating potential new clients through estate planning and/or elder law planning options that will be in their best interests
• Being a guide and advisor, using an honest planning approach to estate planning
• Utilize Smokeball/Lawmatics/MS 365/Interactive Legal to work your cases efficiently and promptly
• Contributing to the success of the team even if it means going outside your job description
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff
• Helping to grow the firm’s presence in Southeastern Pennsylvania

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
• Admission to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Middle District of Pennsylvania is preferred
• Extremely detail orientated
• 2+ years of estate planning experience strongly preferred
• Developed customer service skills
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong legal analysis as well as written and oral advocacy
• High emotional intelligence
• Comfortable with technology
• An interest in working in a fast-paced and varied environment
• A demonstrated interest and passion for estate and elder law
