We are Trinity Elder Law. We provide estate planning and elder law services to our clients. Although our office is located in Butler, this role will have the flexibility for the right candidate to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up client files and matters in MyCase.
  • Obtain required client information and save in MyCase.
  • Help prepare basic letters and client correspondence.
  • Draft and proofread estate administration documents.
  • Meet with and/or follow up with clients in a timely manner and with the utmost level of professionalism.
  • Proactively help manage and prepare for client appointments to assist attorneys.
  • Manage Estate Administration calendar proactively utilizing MyCase to track deadlines.
  • Prepare all documents related to EA cases (probate petitions, notices, advertising, certifications of notices, inventory, inheritance tax returns, and settlement agreements).
  • May help prepare basic estate planning documents.
  • Interact with clients via telephone, email /messaging, and in person to gather information.
  • Embrace a mindset that clients are grieving, and we are providing assistance during a difficult time.
  • Proactively participate in a weekly meeting with the attorney where you have prepared an agenda ahead of time.

To take it one step further, we are essentially looking for someone who:

  • Can meet with clients a few days a week as needed to gather pertinent information and/or documents when handling our estate administration files
  • Can follow up with clients by telephone so not afraid to make and take calls in addition to handling email correspondence
  • Can prepare inheritance tax returns- this would be great
  • Has used Lackner and has accurate data input skills
  • Who owns their work to the 'nth' degree
  • Proactively manages files, and stays on top of deadlines
  • Demonstrates care, compassion, and empathy
  • Has amazing time management and respect for co-workers
  • Takes initiative, is a sponge- willing to learn and pitch in and offers suggestions, and is NOT afraid of technology, Zoom, and Ring Central
  • Is not afraid of using MyCase and tracking all time worked


  • HS Diploma and/or Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of related experience
  • Proofreading skills
  • High attention to detail
  • High follow-through skills
  • Excellent client service
  • High degree of care and professionalism
  • Ability to utilize Lackner Software & Zoom
  • Ability to manage all communications in MyCase (our case management system)
  • Ability to work in the office 2 – 3 days per week and balance of time from home office/remotely
  • Specific availability for client telephone calls

$22 - $25 per hour depending on experience
