We are a small business that has grown from one to eight employees and has seen revenue growth of 40%+ per year. We are seeking to hire an entry-level civil engineer with a passion for land development to work closely under our Virginia & Maryland project managers.

The position is in person at our Great Falls, VA office for the initial training period. This typically takes one month depending on individual progression. After the initial training period, you would move into a hybrid position working 1-2 days a week remotely. Eventually, you would become a full-time remote employee.

• Work would include all the different aspects of site design including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control.
• You would be responsible for providing preliminary design plans, documents, and computations to our project managers for review.
• You would have the opportunity to work on DC-based projects ranging in scale from small residential to commercial and large multi-family.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Passion for land development and design
• EIT certifications preferred
• Strong aptitude for solving technical problems
• A working understanding of civil engineering land development design
