We're seeking a full-time employment law associate who will be responsible for all aspects of clients’ matters, including devising policies and strategies, negotiating agreements, drafting letters, documents, and pleadings, and preparing for and attending hearings and trials.

Responsibilities

The associate will be responsible for all aspects of clients’ matters, including:

  • Devising policies and strategies;
  • Providing sound employment law advice;
  • Drafting letters, documents and pleadings;
  • Negotiating resolutions to disputes;
  • Conducting discovery; and
  • Preparing for and attending hearings and trials.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Be an active member of the New Jersey Bar (and New York Bar preferred);
  • Have experience independently handling employment law matters in New Jersey (and New York preferred) for both employers and employees, including counseling, negotiating, and litigating;
  • Be a self-starter, quick learner, and have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team remotely as well as in the office;
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work and integrity; and
  • Be able to interact with clients, colleagues, and co-workers in a compassionate, personable, and professional manner.

Compensation
$85,000 - $107,400 yearly
