Reali is seeking an adaptable, uplifting Employee Experience Specialist to join our team and support an exceptional employee experience. This is a Hybrid, Non-Exempt, Full-time role, 2-3 out of 5 days in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters.

Responsibilities

Own New Hire On boarding from end to end 

  • Coordinate with IT to set up new employees with equipment
  • Craft and send emails with information about the company and position
  • Prepare onboarding kits (ex. stationary, T-shirts and mugs)
  • Gather and process paperwork, including offer letters, contracts, and non-disclosure agreements
  • Manage background check process
  • Coordinate company onboarding sessions 
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation weekly
  • Inform employees on their first tasks (ex. how to activate their accounts)
  • Ensure new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and software
  • Address new hires’ queries regarding their contracts and payroll

Maintain our HRIS (Workday) to ensure the accuracy of employee information

Consult with other departments to determine HRIS dashboard needs 

  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
  • Track technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches
  • Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policies
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. 

Assist with employee total rewards including benefits administration, compensation, and bonus administration

Office and facilities management to ensure a pleasant in office environment

Create an engaging experience for employees working in a remote environment 

  • Deliver end-to-end internal employee engagement plans and campaigns to inspire and engage employees. 

Program and project management to ensure an exceptional level of support for our employees, managers, and C-Suite

  • Assist with performance management
  • Implement new initiatives geared towards benefiting employees (ex. promoting financial wellness) 

Uphold compliance for the People team through knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment law, along with current HR trends

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or associate's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Experience as an onboarding specialist or in a similar HR role within a start-up environment
  • Basic understanding of HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Experience with ATS and resume databases
  • Good working knowledge of HR practices and employment law (CA a plus)
  • Professionalism and demonstrated understanding of working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Strong evidence of teamwork skills

Compensation
$30 - $35 hourly
