Electrical Product Manager

Aries Electronics, Inc., an electronic connector/adapter/cable manufacturer located in Bristol, Pa., has a unique Engineering opportunity for the right individual. This opportunity will require project input and oversight in product quotation, sales, design, assembly, and quality of a custom electronic adapter product line used in multiple market segments.

Aries Electronics, Inc. is a small, family-owned, fast-paced, custom electronic connector/adapter/cable manufacturer in business for 50 years. Standard electronic connectors, cables, test and burn-in sockets, electronic adapters, and custom sockets are sold, designed, and built in our headquarters located in Bristol, PA.

At least two years of Product Management with respect to:

• Experience with SMT PCB component assembly equipment & IPC standards. Production tooling design experience is a plus.
• Must be able to troubleshoot issues and supply technical support to our customers and sales team.
• Provide management, leadership, and support of the adapter SMT assembly department in completing customer orders.

Product Quality experience with respect to:

• Review, complete, and submit customer-supplied environmental and safety surveys.
• Contribute as a member of the Quality Management Representative (QMR) team in:
• Updating, validating, and controlling an existing approved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management system.
• Contribute to internal audits of the Quality System and during ISO and Customer Audits.
• Review and update company systems for calibration, preventative maintenance, document control, and corrective actions.
• Must be capable of working on multiple projects, be detailed oriented, and have document control experience.
• Must be very focused, organized, and reliable and be able to provide accurate detailed work and complete projects on time.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.) and ERP software (Visual experience a plus) on a daily basis.

The major requirements and experience level of the ideal candidate are:

• BSEE in Electrical Engineering.
• At least three years of electronic product/PCB design experience using Eagle PCB design software (or equivalent) and SolidWorks (versions 2018-2022) for use in designing custom electronic adapters.
• Selection of required electrical/electronic devices, components, PCBs, tooling, plating requirements, and other required items for each application.
• Evaluation and selection of new suppliers of purchased products or services.
• A minimum of 3 years experience (preferred) as a Sales Engineer providing contract review, costing, customer quotes, product/technical support, and sales of electronic adapters/connectors/products.
• Requires security clearance.
