We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with a potential career path to Estate Planning Paralegal. We are seeking an energetic personality to become a part of our fast-moving team.


We are seeking a Legal Assistant with an outgoing personality to become a part of our team!

This position could be right up the alley for a recent college graduate, a person who has prior office experience and looking for growth, or someone with sales or financial services experience returning to the workforce or looking for a career change. The hope for this position is to have someone who can be eventually trained within the next six months to two years to be an estate planning paralegal; a position that can provide a lot of professional and economic growth.

This position will start out very phone heavy and you will be primary person to answer the phone and to greet clients. Your responsibilities will be to provide an excellent first impression for our business and to support our paralegals and attorneys for their maximum profitability. Your first impression responsibilities should develop and display your customer services and sales skills; qualities we are looking for in an estate planning paralegal. Your support work should develop and display your attention to detail; additional qualities needed to excel as an estate planning paralegal.

We are looking for the most suitable fit for the job and our team. We have a great group of employees who work well with each other, and many will be involved in the interview process. Due to the intended growth for a successful candidate, we are looking for a person who has the technical and behavioral traits that will allow you to succeed.

Our law firm serves mostly caregivers and people over 65 years old. All successful employees have had a personal connection with this demographic.

The firm's goal is for all employees to grow in personal skill development so that the business grows and you can better compensated. You will be supported, trained in-house, and you will be given opportunities to attend continuing education events. 


  • Be quick to answer all inbound phone calls (reception back-up)
  • Data entry – call results, contact database management, spreadsheet management
  • Make outbound follow up, scheduling, coordinating, and basic collection phone calls
  • Assist with data entry and proofreading documents
  • Quality control reviews and printing of final documents for client signatures
  • Record, scan, file, store, and protect client information
  • Organize hard and electronic files for current clients; ability to research and follow up with older client files dating back to the early 1990s
  • Drafting of simple estate planning documents
  • Assistance with transferring assets per attorney recommendations; ability to complete financial forms with basic biographical data
  • Ability to understand and communicate general legal principles about estate planning


  • Currently enrolled in a legal assistant or paralegal program, previous experience as a legal assistant, previous experience in financial services
  • Excellent and intuitive computer user (Microsoft Office 365; Adobe Acrobat Pro; practice management software; client relationship management software; automated document drafting; Zoom; and web-based programs)

$40,000 - $55,000 DOE
