Premier Pet Services is a new dog grooming business seeking a full-time dog groomer with availability Tuesday through Saturday. This job will give the right person a great opportunity to build an exceptional client list from Manayunk, Roxborough, East Falls, Mainline, and beyond! Premier is located on Main Street in upbeat and exciting Manayunk (right across the street from Pet-Friendly Dog Bakery).

Premier Pet Services offers full dog grooming, retail, and water treadmill services.

This full-time position includes 2 days off per week, optional health benefits, and a fun engaging atmosphere to take care of our community's beloved pets. Here at Premier, we work side by side as a team. We are looking for someone excited to work who has an understanding and knowledge of dog breeds and their corresponding cuts. As a member of the team at Premier, you will be provided with a grooming room prepped with grooming tables, dryers, and all the bathing equipment needed to work efficiently and effectively.

• Dog grooming and handling
• Ability to work and communicate with others; including dog owners and fellow Premier Pet Services personnel
• Keeping workspace clean throughout the day
• Able to carry out opening and closing procedures
• Ability to work in a timely manner

• Must have 2+ years of dog grooming experience to qualify
• Knowledge of dog breeds and corresponding cuts
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work 15 minutes prior to appointments beginning
• Availability Tuesday thru Saturday - working 5 days per week
• Must own all appropriate tools for quality grooming services
• Safely able to handle large, overly excited, or frightened dogs
• Able to recognize common dog skin or health issues while dogs are in our care, as well as any behavioral issues to keep the dog safe

Our company has high expectations to provide outstanding quality services for customer satisfaction. Our grooming services include baths, blowouts, haircuts, nail trimming, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, expression of anal glands, and each service must be completed by the dog groomer with the occasional assistance of a dog bather. A concierge service will also be open for Premier Pet Services dog walking clients.
