A rapidly growing Law Firm is looking for a Director of Technology. One of our core values is relentless innovation and we need someone who is not afraid to innovate and grow. This position will report directly to the CEO. We are creating the template for how legal services will be delivered to consumers nationally, and eventually internationally, in the future. This is a creative challenge needing someone with the human skills to lead a large team and the technical skills to manage the day-to-day IT functions of the law firm. Presently the firm has 6 programmers, 1 business intelligence manager, 1 on-site system administrator, and utilizes an off-site service provider for routine system maintenance. The firm is utilizing multiple software platforms including Salesforce as its business base. We are creating an international call center for multi-state sales which must be integrated into our system. We also presently utilize a server stack in an Orlando data center, which will soon be moved into the cloud. Responsibilities include system design, team management, leadership coordination, and budgeting. Must be an ideal team player and work with a tightly integrated leadership team to create a best-in-class platform for providing remote-driven legal services including in the future a metaverse interface. 


Technology Selection and Review

  • Keep current on the best available in-class technology including Security, Backup, Infrastructure, Voice, Software, Hardware Technologies

Budget Planning and Management

  • Work with Leadership team to formulate goals/vision and technology plan that will continue to move the firm forward
  • Yearly Budgeting to support rapid growth

Contract Negotiation

  • Work with all vendors in negotiating the best possible price for the firm in selected solutions
  • Manage the purchasing of all equipment, software, and items needed to keep the firm operational on a technical level


  • Keep network and technology documentation up to date
  • Management of all firm credentials and access in relation to team members and technical assets

Licensing and Security Management

  • Manage all licensing for the firm to include (Software User application licenses, Endpoint Protection, User Monitoring, Firewall Licensing, O365 Licensing, and UCC licenses)
  • Oversee the KnowBe4 platform and Endpoint protection

IT Policy Management

  • Remote Policy
  • Hurricane/DR Policy

Helpdesk Management

  • Oversite of all Helpdesk activities, becoming an escalation point for issues

Lead Vendor Integration

  • Manage, Configure and be the technical expert/point of contact for APIs from lead vendors, and call centers, troubleshooting items as issues arise

Voice Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and oversite of Voice changes and adjustments to achieve desired firm results
  • Develop and manage the selection, implementation, integration, and ongoing support of a new Call Center solution

Physical/Virtual Infrastructure:

  • Manage Datacenter Technology Stack
  • Backup Management
  • Manage Connectivity
  • SQL Server Management

Litify (Salesforce) Management

  • Manage/develop the Case management platform Litify, which is a Salesforce vertical market product
  • Supervise training of staff as platforms continue to be incorporated into Litify


  • Hands-on Technical Director
  • Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a team
  • Thorough understanding of IT and practical applications to support the firm’s goals
  • The ideal candidate would be proficient in Salesforce and Litify
  • Plus for anyone with call center hardware and software experience
