We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sales to oversee all sales operations for the company. Your will drive sales through strategic leadership, performance tracking, conversion workflows, building training and development programs, crafting engaging meetings with our agents and staff, and spearheading the recruiting efforts to scale the company’s agent roster.

This role will be a “builder” role where you will play a direct hand in developing and implementing processes and procedures to achieve sustainably operating systems in order to scale the company. You will work side-by-side with the CEO/Founder to align around key initiatives and goals, and have the autonomy and freedom to self-direct and lead/delegate to staff as needed. A working knowledge of financial operations is key to help the company analyze and optimize its company spend and overall bottom line.

The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of sales management experience at the leadership level, helping small to medium sized companies grow and scale their operation towards higher profitability and consistent team performance. The ability to mentor, motivate and work with all personality types is essential and this role must make an immediate positive impact on the bottom line. The Director of Sales’ performance and success will be measured against sales volume goals, key growth milestones, marketing initiatives, and recruiting goals.




  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets
  • Track and measure each agent’s performance against defined KPIs
  • Build onboarding roadmap to train and mentor the agents
  • Hold one-on-ones with agents and staff
  • Oversee the various departments and help build future departments
  • Lead the recruiting and expansion efforts
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure leadership is aligned
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with sales team
  • Develop learning tracks and enablement tools to ensure agent adoption resources and knowledge
  • Lead team meetings each week and set the agenda for topics/discussion
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Effectively communicate values and mission of the company to the team
  • Hold agents and staff accountable to their job descriptions or sales standards
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions and budgets
  • Provide monthly sales reports that reflect actual progress against goals


  • 7+ years of Sales Director or Sales Leadership experience
  • Real Estate experience a huge plus, but not required
  • Proven track record of leading and growing a sales team to higher profitability
  • Proven track record of setting and exceeding team goals as lead by you
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Executive presence and authoritative delivery
  • Works well with all personality types, using empathy and listening to support
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to articulate a unique sales proposition (USP)
  • Knowledge of how to develop automated sales process solutions
  • Understanding of the market and how to discuss trends with the team
  • Proven ability to learn and develop your own knowledge and leadership skills
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the Westside (Santa Monica office)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Apple products, CRMs, Sales software, etc.
  • CA Real Estate license a plus, but not required
  • BA Degree required, MBA a plus

$85,000 - $150,000 DOE + Bonus
