Real Estate Office Director of Operations / Office Manager Position

Responsibilities

We are seeking a growing position that will eventually become a Director of Operations / Office Manager position for a top-producing real estate firm in the Charlotte Metro Area of North Carolina. 

Your position will begin by helping newly recruited agents assimilate to our office. And include filling-in, supporting and cross-training over various administrative rolls. The position will grow over time and will expand to include training developing and nurturing the relationship with our agents. Eventually the position will encapsulate being the first point of contact between the agents and staff to troubleshoot, support and help agents. Over time, the aspirational vision of the position will go deeper into supporting, supplementing and making the mission, vision and core values of the firm a reality for our agents.

Initial Key Responsibilities

• You will be assisting top-producing agents to be higher producers by performing various functions in their transition, orientation and development with our company.

• Initial functions include: Transitioning newly joined associates and orienting them into our office and facilitating the assimilation process.

• Consulting with the new agents and helping them to develop a business plan, train and develop new and existing agents to enhance their skill sets, evaluate their business plans against their results and re-evaluate.

• Identify where agents need help within their business plan, identify weaknesses and train/teach/develop to those needs.

• Exceeding the expectations of the agent in the various functions mentioned above. 

• Supporting existing agents with immediate needs being the point of contact between the agents and staff.

• Seeking new ways to serve our agents and the highest possible level.

• Effectively communicate the value proposition of the office to new, existing and potential new associates.

• Seek ways to make yourself invaluable to our agents. Help us to grow your position by finding more ways to serve our new and existing agents at the highest possible level.

• You MUST be available to the agents. M-F (in the office) some flexibility on the weekend is required. 

• This is not your typical “9 to 5” job. The job is complete when the work is finished, not when the day is over.

Success means: 1) That our new agents feel comfortable that their decision to come to our office was the best decision they could have made, and feel assured that the transition and development are all smooth. 2) That existing agents feel constantly supported and never want to leave our firm.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Real estate sales experience is not mandatory, but a plus. Becoming a quick-study to the Real Estate Sales process will be necessary.

• You demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 

• You must be pleasant and calm under pressure.

• Must be able to handle and manage existing staff and be sensitive yet supportive when the are uncomfortable with change.

• You are persuasive and have strong written and verbal skills and enjoy presenting your ideas and beliefs.

• You possess initiative and strong project management skills. Planning multiple tasks with strong attention to details comes EASILY to you.

• Have NO interest in selling houses yourself.

• Have a working knowledge of office and a quick learn other software’s namely DotLoop, Max Center, Mainstreet and printer drivers.

• Have the ability and are willing to manage subordinates.

Compensation and Key Information

 • This position will begin with hourly compensation. As our business relationship grows and you prove your interpersonal relationship skills, and we grow trust, the position will also grow and eventually become a permanent salaried position.

  • The initial position starts at $17/hour and can grow to $50,000 - $55,000 in a year. The position can continue to grow from there.

• The Director of Operations / Office Manager Position requires that you are an over-achiever and pridefully excel in your work and working relationships…However it will take time for you to build your reputation and to show the agents evidence of your quality of work.

• Important: this position requires and entrepreneurial spirit.

Compensation

$32,000 to $50,000
