The Director of Operations is a critical position reporting directly to the owner and working closely with her and the Leadership team on a consistent basis to deliver on the plans, growth, and profitability of the organization. Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance all report up to you.
You would hold the team accountable to hitting Goals and Weekly To Do’s, watch the numbers like a hawk and question EVERY expense to ensure HIGH profitability, ensure we have the right people in the right seats and work with the team to manage people UP or manage people OUT (if not the right fit) and work closely with the leadership team to budget out the year and predict what we need to spend.
Additional key areas include simplifying the messages, process, structure, vision, and communication; document, simplify and get everyone following your six to ten core processes that make up your way of doing business and predict/planning: Strong in both the long term and short term.
Is the glue for the organization, holds everything together, beats the drum (provides cadence), is accountable for the PL results, executes the business plan, holds the Leadership Team accountable, and is the steady force in the organization
As "The Integrator" you create organizational clarity, communication, and consistency; typically operates more on logic; drives results; forces resolution, focus, team unity, prioritization, and follow-through; is the filter for all of the Visionary’s ideas; harmoniously integrates the Leadership Team, and helps to remove obstacles and barriers
