We're looking for an experienced Director of Operations to take us to the next level by optimizing company performance, managing day-to-day operations, and overseeing agent & customer services. You'll be responsible for our existing company procedures, development & implementation of new systems and processes, and managing our employees to ensure we're well-coordinated, productive, and on our A-game. You will foster and maintain inter-office relationships and coordinate between departments to ensure that operations are solid, while all budget goals are met. We're looking for a leader that can integrate into our existing culture and views this opportunity as less of a job and more of a lifestyle.

This position requires you to be in-office 4 days/wk, with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week following a 90-day probationary and training period.

Responsibilities

  • A working understanding of Insurance Management Services including billing, fulfillment, administration, and customer service.
  • Willingness to learn our company's internal dynamics, contracts, products, pricing, and procedures.
  • Independently lead day-to-day operations, project management, system & process development, and automation.

  • Streamline management of 7-12 employees, including, but not limited to, interviewing & presenting qualified candidates to fill open positions, training, skill assessments, and periodic reviews,
  • Customer service retention & Agent management, support, and retention.
  • Budget adherence, financial oversight and reporting.
  • Build out and staff new departments as the company grows.

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proven experience managing a team of at least 5 employees
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a dynamic mix of of people, from employees to customers, to agents, owners, and CEOs
  • Innovative, independent, and disciplined self-starter
