Opportunity Summary

Our group, a high-performance real estate team located in the heart of Washington, DC and affiliated with one of the fastest growing brokerages in the area and country, is looking for a leader to be our Director of Operations. 

The Director of Operations requires a strong, steady presence and is someone who can think, operate and make decisions at a leadership level. This person has excellent communication and writing skills, an efficient work pace, is an independent thinker, a team player, and a self-starter who understands how to reach, connect and help clients, customers and teammates on the highest level. This person has strong organizational skills and can handle multiple real estate related tasks at once with attention to detail and accuracy, and he/she wants to be a part of – and grow with – a team dedicated to improving the lives of everyone we touch. 

This Director has excellent and diverse computer skills and is results-oriented. He/she strives to assist, train and motivate people. This person thrives working independently on running client transactions, real estate projects and client outreach, via telephone, snail mail, social media, pictures and video. A bachelor’s degree and significant real estate experience is required. 

Compensation and Benefits

$70,000 - $95,000 depending on skills, experience and the ability to "wow." Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, health and dental care contribution, social opportunities and solid growth potential.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the operations of the Team to productivity and performance excellence
  • Assisting Team executives in the development of company strategy and leading its implementation
  • Assisting to recruit great Team agents, administrative staff and strategic partners
  • Working with the Team agents to capture, catalog and coordinate client information, needs and services
  • Training agents in Team lead generation systems and motivating agents to achieve their goals
  • Training Team administrative staff to support Team agents
  • Setting up files, managing client and vendor databases and implementing client outreach programs
  • Coordinating real estate transactions, including gathering all information and necessary paperwork, and following up on contractual items
  • Coordinating client communications and implementing after-the-sale contact systems to create extraordinary experiences
  • Developing marketing campaigns and implementation of campaigns for multiple channels, including print, email, telephone and video campaigns
  • Marketing of the Team’s listings, online and in print
  • Implementing social media campaigns, including FaceBook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and blog posts, to increase fan base/following
  • Producing Team reports, presentations and briefs
  • Organizing client and Team events to enhance the Team’s sense of community
  • Tracking Team expenses and creating Team efficiencies
Qualifications
  • Leadership and team management skills and an interest in growing these skills
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization and time management skills; strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and forward-thinking abilities.Technically proficient, particularly in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Solid marketing and graphic design skills
  • Strong grammar and writing skills
  • Knowledge of social media and electronic advertising and campaigns
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude; excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to deal with varied personalities
  • Candidate will need to be willing to obtain real estate licenses if not licensed (Team will reimburse)
