Who are we looking for?

The Director of First Impressions must understand that to run effectively and efficiently, a Market Center must tend to its associates’ needs in such a way that they (the associates) are receiving the expected level of service and remain satisfied with the level of service provided by the Market Center. 

The Director of First Impressions will be responsible for the appearance of the Market Center common areas. He or she will ensure the office is neat and prepared for business. The individual will need to have a relationship-based attitude as a result of the associate being the customer with an understanding that the agent associates will seek them because the associate likes the individual and are swayed by enthusiasm. 

As the Director of First Impressions, this individual will stand up and greet everyone with a smile and warmth as they enter the office. They will be as helpful as possible without neglecting the phones. 

The Director of First Impressions will assist in the management of the office by providing support and feedback to the MCA and Team Leader on all matters affecting the productivity and operation of the Market Center.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Answer the phone correctly

  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
  • Maintain appearance of reception area
  • Computer input
  • Assist the MCA with bookkeeping (A/R and A/P)
  • Purchasing (supplies and equipment)
  • Assist with all Market Center events, not limited to RED Day, training events, food drives, BOLD lunch coordination, team meeting lunch sponsors, and many other activities throughout the year. Make sure instructors are scheduled and prepared. Market all events to our agents and the public, as appropriate.
  • Follow intake process and checklist for all incoming and exiting agents.
  • Assist new agents in applying for license and insurance, and regularly check in with the State of Tennessee to see when an agent becomes active. 
  • Organization. It is imperative to follow our system to stay ahead and on top of agent count and their personal information at all times. 
  • Maintain agent files and make sure all paperwork has been completed properly. Agent files should remain locked up and confidential. 
  • Assist in regularly updating our private and public Facebook pages with upcoming events, value stories, and agent achievements.

Compensation
$31,200 - $33,280 annually (based on experience)
