The Director of Agent Development is primarily responsible for leading the complete agent development division and increasing closed production per agent. He/She is an individual who is empathetic, inspiring, engaging, learning-based, organized, positive and energetic. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality.

The Director of Agent Development also demonstrates a commitment to agent success by teaching courses when appropriate, and regularly practicing scripts and dialogues. He/she is committed to investing in the people on the team and regularly provides them with learning and growth opportunities as well.

  • Manage the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Organize and administer training for the sales team
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
  • Create sales reports in a timely fashion
  • Plan and implement training programs. Hold regular skills training sessions for agents
  • Provide coaching, training and high level leadership to the team
  • Contribute ideas to the creation of promotional material
  • Determine and implement attainable goals for agents through coaching and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures and reporting
  • Increase agent participation in Agent Development Program
  • Increase average production per agent
  • Meet with all current agents and assess developmental needs within first 30 days
  • Invite all joining agents to review/create a business plan no later than 7 days after they join
  • Advise agents on appropriate business direction and strategies
  • Increase repeat participation in training classes
  • Teach daily sales and business classes within first 30 days
  • Assemble in-office training curriculum based on agent needs
  • Create an appropriate office training calendar within first 30 days
  • Keep all business and sales training content relevant and up-to-date
  • Organize and preside over all monthly team sales meetings
  • Facilitate accountability and mastermind groups within first 90 days
  • Be accessible to agents daily for business, sales and career advice
  • Stay abreast of agent issues and expediently seek out appropriate solutions
  • Increase production of each lead generation source
  • Decrease Agent pop-ins

  • Proven organizational and planning ability
  • Technologically proficient and able to learn new programs with ease
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Real estate license
  • Residential sales experience
  • Training experience
  • Basic business understanding and capabilities
