We are looking to add an experienced diesel mechanic to our team who has the know-how to keep our trucks and equipment in top shape. This position will conduct regular inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance and assist with building our grapple trucks. A successful candidate for this position will come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to maximize the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks.

• Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
• Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services
• Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment
• Performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs)
• Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Assists senior Mechanics in the completion of project work
• Reviews complete or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintains a clean and safe work area

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum 5 years diesel mechanic and diagnostic experience required
• Heavy truck repair experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have good communication skills and a great attitude
• Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations
