We are looking for Engineers who can

• Provide expertise and hands-on experience working on Kafka connect using Schema Registry in a very high-volume environment
• Provide expertise in Kafka brokers, ZooKeepers, KSQL, KStream, and Kafka Control Center
• Provide expertise and hands-on experience in custom connectors using the Kafka core concepts, and API
• Strong knowledge of Java backend languages (Java 8, Python, and. Net)
• Working knowledge of Kafka REST Proxy
• Experience with RDBMS systems, particularly Postgres and Oracle 
• Experience with graph databases like Marklogic and Neo4j is a plus 
• Strong skills in In-memory applications, database design, and data integration

Expectations

• Ensure the optimum performance, high availability, and stability of the solution
• Create topics, setup redundancy clusters, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and have good knowledge of best practices
• Use terraform to automate environment provisioning 
• Use Jenkins and Concourse to create CI and CD pipelines 
• Ability to perform data-related benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning
• Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading in the identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production environment
• Design automation to ensure production stability 
• Configure and manage Multi-Az and Multi-Region Kafka Deployments 
• Communicate and work with development teams to ensure environments are available and resilient
