Curve Development is currently looking for an experienced Real Estate Development Manager for their Development Department. The right candidate will be responsible for the ownership of new communities in the project development lifecycle, at the site identification and acquisition stage, through due diligence to construction, and final turnover. 


  • Help identify and evaluate real-estate development opportunities
  • Advance into leading deal evaluation
  • Determination of the financial feasibility for a viable project
  • Advance financial acumen required to lead underwriting
  • Assist in the configuration of project site plans, unit mix, and product type for deal evaluation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regional Partners and Consultants to develop projects efficiently and successfully across the country
  • Determination of the suitability of a site
  • Work with CFO and VP Construction to define predevelopment expenditures expectations, development cash-flow, and development capital requirements
  • Establishing strong public-private partnerships
  • Delivery of professional PowerPoint presentations before both large and small groups of financiers, municipalities, and community constituents for the purpose of marketing projects to groups potentially skeptical and occasionally adverse
  • Development of realistic project budgets
  • Coordination of efficient land-development approval process
  • Work with CFO and President to coordinate of the legal team as required for project responsibility for all site control documentation, loan agreements, equity documents, and partnership agreements
  • Collaboration with architects and engineers in designing proposed developments
  • Determine/Develop realistic project entitlement/approval/civil schedules
  • Meeting design, funding, and construction deadlines throughout the project
  • Meeting project budgets
  • Oversight of contractors and other professionals to build proposed developments
  • Efficient project management through superior team management
  • Delivery of on-time, on-budget real estate development projects
  • Management and motivation of in-house development team
  • Maintenance of calendars, scheduling
  • Coordinates pre-construction planning with VP of Construction; creates projected budgets; reviews approves the phasing construction plan developed by the owner/contractor
  • Develops, implements, and maintains systems and procedures to manage development operational activities
  • Works directly with Ownership strategic planning for both personal and company future growth
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree required or minimum 5 years experience in real estate development, project management, construction, or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Independent judgment to manage, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload with an ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multitask
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and have a positive, upbeat attitude

$110,000 - $140,000 yearly
