Our established family practice is seeking a full-time, 4 days per week dental hygienist to join our dental family. If you are a hygienist that believes in providing the very best in care, enjoys having time to develop wonderful relationships, looking for a professional yet friendly environment, and enjoys the best in technology - please give us a call. - Our number one goal is for patients to receive the best experience from each team member
- Let our patients know we respect their time by staying on schedule as much as possible; help manage patient flow; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services; establish/communicate continued care
- Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants
- Be supportive and provide knowledge for all dental procedures performed in our practice
- Screen for Oral Cancer
- Take and record patients’ blood pressure accurately
- Valid and current dental hygienist license
- Certification for other duties as required by state practice act
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
