We’re hiring a positive outgoing, team-focused Licensed Dental Assistant-Licensed X-ray Technician to join our dental family. LICENSED TO TAKE X-RAYS. Dentrix knowledge is a plus. Responsibilities include assisting hygienists with examinations and procedures, obtaining radiographs, scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting at the front desk, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Candidates should be great communicators and have great management skills. Highly compensated as skills progress. The position is part-time Tuesday and Wednesday with a possible third day. - Perform administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering phone calls and setting up appointments for dental visits, ordering dental supplies, and handling billing
- Record each patients treatment information during their visit and ensure dental records have the most current information
- Tell patients what oral hygiene steps they need to take in order to prevent infection after dental procedures
- Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
- Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
- Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks
- Dentrix software knowledge and radiograph certification a plus
