We are in search of an experienced dental assistant to join our exceptional team of dental professionals! Our practice is conveniently located in the heart of Arlington near the Clarendon Metro station. Our beautiful, modern office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, and an iTero scanner!

Our team of doctors and staff are dedicated to providing outstanding patient care while continuing to learn the newest technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who is a team player with excellent communication skills and dedicated to patient care, to join our dental family!

Candidate must have chair-side dental experience and a valid x-ray license/certification for the state of Virginia.

We place great importance on the safety of our team and patients. We have increased the level of PPE provided for team members and have protocols in place to work during this time.

• Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures
• Help with administrative duties such as welcoming patients, taking phone calls, making appointments for dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing
• Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
• Make sure each patient has the most up-to-date and accurate dental records by recording their information after every visit
• Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments
• Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist

• Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental assistance program with an associate’s degree
• Possess the ability to provide patients with excellent care and service
• Basic data entry and computer skills
