You will be the Dental Administrative coordinator and team member for the front office, helping optimize and transform how we work together with the Practice Administrator for the benefit of the team and serving our patients. Willingness to learn and adapt when necessary. Several years or more, if not an entire career, focused on working closely with patients in a dental office or other medical environment is highly preferred. Responsibilities

  • Ensures fundamental systems and protocols are in place within the supported dental office, allowing the doctor to focus on dentistry.
  • Assist in dental team development, build positive relationships with the dentist and dental team members, manage schedules to meet daily dentistry goals.
  • Assume a leadership role in motivating office team members and proactively seeking ways to improve dental practice.
  • Manage all front office tasks, including daily operations of the dental office, managing both employee and patient relations, performance management, and achieving operational goals.
  • Assist in achieving revenue goals by overseeing patient scheduling, staff productivity, and treatment planning coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or graduation from a two-year college program in a related discipline is preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, management and relationship-building skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is helpful
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to learn new programs
  • Dentrix software knowledge highly preferred
  • Strong marketing background
  • Proven and successful treatment planning case acceptance and closing rates increasing production growth
  • Experience managing in dental or another fast-paced, highly interactive customer service atmosphere
  • Experience with Insurance

  • Strong dedication to accurately completing administrative functions such as financial review, compliance standards, and end of the day reporting
  • Ability to work 36-40 hours per week, Monday -Friday (some days as early as 7:30 am and ending some days at 7 pm)
  • Ability to work 1-2 Saturday's per month (7:30 am-1 pm)
  • Reliable transportation to Ashburn, Virginia in all types of weather

Compensation
$16 -$ 22 hourly
