As a construction worker with our company, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including measuring and cutting materials, building and installing decks, and ensuring that all work is done safely and to the highest of standards. You'll work closely with our team of designers and project managers to ensure that every project is completed on time and to our clients' satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about construction and has experience working on residential projects. You should be able to work independently, but also be a team player who is willing to pitch in and help out wherever needed. You should be comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather and be able to lift heavy materials.

• Measure and mark out the area where the deck is to be installed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local codes and regulations
• Install footings, posts, and other structural elements to create a stable foundation for the deck
• Cut and shape deck boards to fit the designated area, using power tools and other equipment as necessary
• Secure deck boards in place using screws, nails, or other appropriate fasteners
• Install railings, stairs, and other features that add safety and convenience to the deck
• Communicate with customers to ensure that their design preferences and expectations are met or exceeded
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices at all times, to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries on the job

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with carpentry or construction work, preferably in a residential setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to deck construction
• Familiarity with power tools and other equipment used in deck installation
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
• Detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on precision and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites
