The Customer Service Representative will primarily be responsible for sales account engagement and connection. They will support the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Sales and Marketing Manager, and the School Engagement Specialists to coordinate areas of focus where clients will need attention and assistance. Ultimately, the Customer Service Representative is the eyes and ears of the Sales Department, which will provide insight on what the next steps need to be taken with clients to ensure overall satisfaction. 

Responsibilities

Team Communication

  • Responds to emails with immediate requests from clients and team
  • Responds to Slack direct messages
  • Participates in weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the Sales and Marketing Manager and Sales Team
  • Assists other departments (such as Personal Development, Software, etc) with communicating product offering expansion or changes 
  • Shares clear feedback and questions with the team 
  • Understands when to pause and a partner vs. take action

Portfolio Knowledge

  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s business offerings in order to answer all customer related inquiries
  • Partners with a School Engagement Specialist were necessary to complete a sale

Client Connection

  • Documents all client engagement via ConnectWise service tickets
  • Creates a strong level of partnership and rapport with account contacts, always adding value to their experience
  • Proactively contacts customers to upsell from our array of product offerings
  • Asks clients strategic questions to gain valuable feedback and insight
  • Addresses, resolve, and record any customer issues that arise pertaining to business growth and satisfaction
  • Partners with the Sales and Marketing Manager on instances that may require further attention/action 

Qualifications

  • At least two years of sales experience preferred 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines
  • Strong negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
