Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer complaints in a friendly and timely manner to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Follow scripts when managing challenging customer issues and escalate to the appropriate party when needed
  • Work closely with the sales lead to stay up-to-date on service and product knowledge
  • Answer incoming calls on product and service questions, customer complaints, and general customer inquiries
  • Provide customer support over the phone by taking orders and helping with inquiries
  • Processing all faxed and emailed customer Purchase Orders
  • Enter customer request date and promise date for all orders
  • Perform customer follow-ups by phone and email using reports and our specialized inventory tracking software
  • Enter Delivery Confirmation Dates as “Promise Date” for all non-same day orders and notify the customer of date
  • Provide Tracking details for all orders
  • Keep a clean and presentable workspace
  • Quote Parts and service orders as requested
  • Maintain our parts tracking database by entering invoices, credit notes, and all documents daily
  • Provide “Tier 1” Support as available for all Weber Customers


Qualifications

  • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
  • Strong knowledge of customer interface and interaction

Education/Experience:

  • High school degree or GED or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations
  • Work well in high-stress environments and maintain professionalism in dealing with customers and co-workers
  • Needs to be a self-starter and have the ability to work in unsupervised settings
  • Excellent customer service skills

Language Ability:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization

Math Ability:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office, as well as having a working knowledge of database applications and contact management systems. Salesforce Experience a plus

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Current valid U.S. driver's license

Travel:

  • None required

Compensation
16 - 19 hourly
