$14.50 and up, commensurate with experience

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven, flexible and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be motivated to provide the highest level of quality work. The position requires working a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
This is a part-time position that requires you to be knowledgeable in custodial services as well as the use and application of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers, and other solutions. Hub 757 hosts a variety of events such as weddings, business meetings, and seminars, social gatherings, trade shows, etc. Cleaning services are required following each of our events.
- Follow directions issued by Director of Events
- Responsible for sweeping and mopping floors
- Vacuums carpeting; removes spots and stains
- Sanitizes restrooms as well as replaces toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Wash and polish bathroom fixtures
- Sanitizing all additional surfaces
- Transport and empty trash cans into outdoor unit then sanitize trash cans
- Other related duties may be assigned
- At least one year of custodial experience is required
- Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and late hours
- Consistent punctuality and attendance
- Maintain equipment and materials used throughout the shift
- Lock and unlock doors, activate the alarm system
- Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and professional manner
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stand, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Background check required
Located in the Harbour View area of Northern Suffolk, Hub 757 serves as an event center for the Greater Hampton Roads area and is home to Believers Church and Oak and Lily Academy.
