Custodial Staff - Overnight

The CUSTODIAL STAFF is responsible for supporting the servitude of patient care by conducting monthly, weekly, and daily tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment by minimizing biohazard contaminates and maintaining general cleanliness.  

The selected candidate will work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday,

• Assist the Director of Physical Properties and the Physical Properties Manager in conducting cleaning and maintenance of PAW Health Network, Inc.
• Perform surface cleaning such as dusting, wiping, sweeping, and mopping. 
• Perform deep cleaning such as the use of deep floor scrubber, moving of equipment and hardware, and abrasive cleaning. 
• Ability to read, understand, and implement materials from manuals and drawings. 
• Ability to track maintenance schedules of equipment. 
• Ability to perform maintenance of equipment. 
• Provide timely and professional email correspondences. 
• Collaborates with the Inventory Coordinator for changes or needs of supply items. 
• Understand logistics to assist hospital efficiency. 
• Contributes to a positive work environment by treating others with fairness and respect. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administrative team.  

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite

• Has the ability to solicit, process, and integrate input from team members and administrators. 
• Recognizes areas of conflict or disagreement and deals with them through open and honest dialogue.   
• Effectively provides feedback. 
• Has the ability to learn and utilize all maintenance equipment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to handle, carry and transport equipment up to 25 lbs.

Tasks associated with this role are carried out within the clinic during the time that minimally impacts patient care practices. Tasks associated with this role are performed overnight and do meet the criteria for premium pay or bonus pay issued during approved times
