Compass Point Village is a Homeward Bound owned property that is being converted into Permanent Support Housing Complex located on Tunnel Rd. The site is currently under construction. The purpose of the Crisis Intervention Specialist will be to keep the property safe and clear of trespassing during the off hours of construction. The Crisis Intervention Specialist may be trained at other locations to work as PRN.

Ideally, the right candidate will be asked to stay with the Crisis Intervention Team once the project is complete.

Schedule and compensation: full-time and part-time available, approximately 24 to 35 hours/week, non-exempt, hourly compensation.

Available Shifts are:

  • Monday - Friday 5 pm to 12 am 35 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 12 am to 7 am 35 hours per week                                 
  • Saturday and Sunday 7 am to 7 pm 24 hours per week
  • Saturday and Sunday 7 pm to 7 am 24 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • The Crisis Intervention Specialist monitors cameras when available and walks the property to make sure the property remains free of trespassers.
  • The Crisis Intervention Specialist completes activity and incident reports at the end of each shift.
  • The Crisis Intervention Specialist secures the building during and at the end of each shift.
  • The Crisis Intervention Specialist must be comfortable with calling emergency services.
  • The ability to be empathetic and to speak comfortably with individuals from all walks of life is an important part of the position.
  • The Crisis Intervention Specialist must be comfortable working alone for the duration of the shift.
  • A strong working knowledge of computers and software such as Microsoft Office and Box, as well as the ability to operate and monitor surveillance software.

Compensation
$17.30 hourly
