Rossen Law Firm

  • Do you want to be a part of a team that helps people with the most difficult parts of their lives – but are weary of the traditional practice of law and the demands of being in the courtroom constantly?
  • Do you love building relationships with clients, but have you come to hate the daily grind of running from court to depositions, motions and constantly spending your weekends preparing for trial?

If you answered "yes" to BOTH of those questions, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

While our attorneys are in court and working on our client’s cases, we need an experienced criminal law attorney to serve as our sales attorney - that’s where you come in!

Here at Rossen Law Firm, we conduct "Strategy Sessions," not traditional "consultations." We take the time to listen to our prospective clients. We get to know them and build a relationship based on trust. We educate them on the law and procedure. We review the police reports and give a customized legal analysis and case strategy for every person we meet with.

If this gets you excited, you’ll love working with us. If you want a slow pace, government-style job, then please don’t apply as this is not the law firm for you.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategy sessions with potential clients over the phone, via zoom, and in person.
  • Give detailed, expert legal analysis, create a customized defense strategy, and educate potential clients on criminal law and procedure.
  • Work with our intake team to sign up new cases, five days a week.
  • Input detailed case notes and follow-up tasks in our world-class practice management software.

Qualifications

  • A demonstrated interest and passion for criminal defense. You bring your WHY to the firm and it shows a passion to help people facing the most difficult times of their lives. (I’m saying here, have a story about why this really matters to you – not 'it was the first job out of law school you could get', or 'that you did an internship in a criminal clinic.')
  • Extremely detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in handling DUI, misdemeanor, and felony cases.
  • Ability to issue spot potential 4th, 5th, and 6th amendment constitutional law violations.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Empathetic and compassionate attitude.
  • Responsible, self-initiating with proven ability to work independently.

Compensation
$70,000 - $150,000 yearly
