We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented certified public accountant to ensure our company’s financial success. This is a full-time or part-time position based on the candidate. You’ll be in charge of our financial planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, producing reports, and providing recommendations to keep profits up and costs down. Responsibilities
  • Liaise with tax accountants to track payments and returns
  • Bookkeeping: Analyze our company’s financial information including financial transactions, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures to ensure the business runs smoothly
  • Play a key role in strategic planning and organizational budget
  • Advise on ways our company can optimize our financial efficiency

  • Preparation of tax returns for a growing client base that is currently approximately 100 tax returns per year but is expected to increase

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of work experience in accounting services, financial services, or similar field
  • Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
  • Successfully completed the uniform CPA examination by the AICPA and hold CPA certification that complies with the state board of accountancy regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, Master’s degree preferred but not required
  • Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 yearly
