Our ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter with a strong and creative writing background. You can write catchy headlines, have a penchant for pithy copy, and experience creating short pieces of content, including persuasive social media and email campaigns with captivating subject lines and headings. You have a solid background in marketing and a flair for agency-style copywriting. You’ll report to our Director, Brand and Creative Services and will be a key contributor to our overall marketing strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with Creative, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing teams to provide relevant copy for Naaam’s email nurture programs.
- Write promotional copy for online ads, banners, collateral, and social networks.
- Create smart, bite-size pieces that take the form of blog posts, emails, social media posts, and more from existing long-form content.
- Research current events that pertain to Naaam and write short, thoughtful responses that create a “buzz.”
- Collaborate with product, design, and executive stakeholders to develop useful, compelling, original pieces of content.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to identify and fulfil content needs for all phases of the customer journey.
- Identify unique content opportunities from the news and customer stories.
- Provide research support for larger content projects and needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - preferably in journalism, marketing, business, or English
- Familiarity with style guides, and comfort writing using a style guide (AP, Chicago, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research tools
- Ability to manage tight timelines
- Prior experience with social publishing, blog, and email marketing platforms
- A cross-functional mindset and experience collaborating across departments
$22 - $25 hourly
